As far as betting on football matches is considered a projection of past events into the future, I'll concentrate on the probability for a certain team to win (or make a draw or lose for that matter) considering its past development and, of course, the development of its rival in the current event. It is true, however, that not all things happen in accordance with how they are expected to, for betting would not exist. Its very existence proves that there are no sure things and not everything could be predicted - however the fact that there undoubtedly are wrong predictions or series of such implies that correct ones should exist as well. The only task is to attempt doing so that ours are one of them. Good luck!
